Aww, that robot's kinda cute. Sort of in a rusty Wall-E way. I really like your method of water color designs for your backgrounds, but are the white dots in the water supposed to be reflections of the stars in the sky? If so, how come there isn't a reflection of the moon? (I take it that we can't see the reflection from the viewer's angle?)

Not trying to nitpick here, just something I noticed. Overall great piece.

Thank you!! And yes you're correct of both things--they are stars and from the viewer's angle you wouldn't be able to see the reflection of the moon

While I think the ideas you mentioned would have made it sound cooler, I still think that as a standalone work of art, it's pretty neat. Not gonna lie, I have to say turning him into a candle DOES sound a little uninspired, but at least the execution of the piece is damn-near spotless. The grindhouse font is the slightest bit off, but I think you're being hard on yourself with it. It's really good in my opinion, along with the piece as a whole. What's not to love about that beard.
