Between the mocking laughter and sudden shift to staunch embarrassment, I believe this is what is referred to as a tsundere...?

Either way, this is wonderfully pulled off. Great job.

The choice of colors here just flow so seemlessly with each other, they's beautiful. From her hair and bandanna through all her clothing and right to the drown, I love the coloring. The drawing is so simple in appearance, but her facial expression and the way her hair and clothes appear to be flowing in a breeze really adds a layer of depth to it, I think. Though how much her hair is being blown back usually indicates a stronger wind, so her clothes should have an appearance of also being caught in such a wind. Also, the angle her hand is holding her drumstick at appears a little awkward to me.

Overall I'm really proud of you for this though :D Great job!

Rough around the edges, but a still a good job.

FAKE NEWS! I DON'T SEE ANY BLUE IN THIS PICTURE! SAD!

But really though, I like this a lot. The monotone shading and penciling really add to the somber mood Buck seems to be feeling. However, the reflection of his eye in the window seems to tell a different story. The angry look that is being reflected back at him implies that maybe he's angry at himself, and perhaps that is related to his sadness. A deep depression that is causing him to just go through the motions without ever really actively moving...much like him sitting on a moving train.

Also you're still gay. Great work, tails!

TailsPrower responds:

Wow thanks for the thoughtful review, Civi! It didn't occur to me that the reflection could be that of anger, that's an interesting spin on it now that I think about it. I did try to put meaning and symbolism with the window. Looks like there's more to it than even I had anticipated.

Also no u.

This is a really clever piece. Everything just blends in together so smoothly.

YakovlevArt responds:

Thanks! That was definitely what I was practicing while keeping it minimal and emotional.

Npt bad, I really like the cop car. The junk is a nice touch, too.

Overall, I think you've done a great job with trying to portray a filthy, grimy atmosphere of urban scenery. Looks like a setting from some impoverished part of downtown. Could maybe use a few more details like a bit of litter and/or maybe even a security cam. But a great job nonetheless.

aybby id lyk 2 tap ur wood ;)))

Nice use of shading.

TailsPrower responds:

Ayyy plenty of wood to go around.

Thanks for checking out my art <3

This is hilarious.

This is an excellent tribute to both creatures. The monochromes, colors, shading, and lighting in this picture give them a stunningly realistic appearance. The detailing especially holds it all together, though I wish the orange on the lammergeier was slightly brighter along the top of his head, sort of like the orange along the side of his head is.

Reminds me of this one time in kindergarten i tried to draw an actual pyramid and failed miserably. So I just scribble-scrabbled.

Kiwi responds:

Are you insulting me? Did I fail miserably?
